The new Compass pricing technologies announced today include: CompassPoint™ Market Imports, LenderHub™ V2.0, Bulk Pricing Automation, and new Compass Web Service features.
The new features, following Compass’s June 2014 launch of transactional web services and November 2014 acquisition of product, pricing and eligibility (PPE) technology from Priceweaver, Inc., now enable Compass to offer the industry one pricing engine capable of supporting all necessary capital markets loan-level and bulk pricing capabilities. Compass’s pricing and locking capabilities now include: point-of-sale user interfaces, investor eligibility, rate sheets, automated locking, real time risk management, accounting, delivery best execution, bulk bidding automation, and cash flow valuations such as mortgage servicing rights (MSR) valuation, portfolio loans, non-QM and structured cash flows.
The new technology allows any front-end, LOS, data mart, or Excel spreadsheet to evaluate eligibility, price loans, price MSR, and apply margins across the internet in a real-time manner, while capital markets controls all market updates, margins and model assumptions. The real-time risk management enabled by the technology sets a new industry standard by providing comprehensive risk analytics, including all relevant duration and hedge ratios for agency, non-agency, retained and released executions. The technology brings a new era of margin accuracy by allowing capital markets departments to apply accurate MSR values instead of rough approximations.
