PHOENIX CAPITAL AND COMPASS ANALYTICS ANNOUNCE TRANSITION TO COMPASS ANALYTICS AS PHOENIX’S NEW MSR VALUATION TOOL

Denver, CO– Jan 9, 2009– Phoenix Capital, a Denver, Colorado based provider of mortgage servicing analytics, consulting and brokerage services, and Compass Analytics, a San Rafael, California based provider of mortgage valuation and risk management analytics, announced today Phoenix’s transition to Compass’s CompassPoint™ as Phoenix’s new mortgage servicing rights (MSR) valuation tool.

CompassPoint™ will be used by Phoenix as the cash flow engine and model and reporting framework with which Phoenix applies its market color and assumptions to generate valuations and analytics for MSR portfolios. Both parties confirmed the transition to CompassPoint™ would be complete by the end of this month.
